While the prime minister Narendra Modi tops the list as one would expect, Amit Shah ranks 2nd.
YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stands 32nd on the list and he has dropped 6 positions since 2019. He was 26th in the list of the most powerful Indians for the year 2019.
Jagan is touted to be the next big thing in South Indian politics and his welfare schemes and administration are being received so very well that the principle opposition party Telugu Desam is facing existential crisis.
Interestingly enough, Sonia Gandhi is two positions below Jagan on this list and she was the most powerful Indian not so long ago. Her popularity has gone down drastically over the years.
