Jagan decides against lockdown in Andhra Pradesh

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called for a high-level meeting with his subordinates to discuss the ways in which Covid outbreak can be contained.

Many expected Jagan to take a bid decision on lockdown and he did so as well.

However, Jagan decided not to impose another lockdown in Andhra Pradesh as he believes it would seriously affect the lives of the working class people in the state.

Interestingly, Jagan has announced that there will be a 50% seating occupancy regulation in cinema halls and other entertainment venues.

Also, the government of Andhra Pradesh decided against the night curfew proposal.

The government of Andhra Pradesh will now be speeding up the vaccination drive in the state and mew Covid treatment centers will be set up in the state.
