There’s no doubt that Megastar Chiranjeevi enjoys the same craze as he did back in the day. Thousands of people flock to the theatres to seem in action and get awed by his presence on the big screen. This is the main reason why all of his films quote high prices.
The theatrical rights of Acharya were recently sold at a record price, and the makers are demanding a bomb for the satellite rights now. Reports suggest that the makers are quoting Rs. 50 Crores for satellite rights. This is lesser when compared to the previous price they were quoting, which is Rs. 80 Crores.
Sun TV Group and Zee Group are eyeing these rights, and right now they are said to be negotiating the prices with the makers, requesting for the prices to be reduced.
Koratala Siva is the director of Acharya, while Mani Sharma is the music director. Kaajal Aggarwal is the leading lady of the film, and Ram Charan will be seen in a special role in the film, as Chiranjeevi’s disciple. Acharya will be releasing in theatres on March 13th.
