Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva, was a prestigious film from the very beginning itself. After several delays, the shooting of the film began early this year, but had to be stopped due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Chiranjeevi was supposed to join the sets from November, but after his Coronavirus scare, he will be joining the sets after Sankranthi. In the meanwhile, Koratala is busy making all the necessary arrangements.
According to the latest reports, a whopping Rs. 20 Crores have been spent by the team to erect the set of a Kerala village in the outskirts of Hyderabad. This set also spreads across 16 acres of land. Acharya is being made on a massive budget, so this is not surprising anyone.
Ram Charan is playing a crucial role in the film, and is yet to join the sets. Kajal Aggarwal is the female lead in the film.
