The president of Indian National Congress, Rahul Gandhi’s comments on the prime ministerial candidate for 2019 elections is currently the talk of the town. The 47-year-old leader said that he is ready to accept the prime minister job if the Congress party comes to power in 2019 elections.
Rahul said that the public is fed up with BJP’s governance over the past 4 years and is willing to bring Congress to power in the following elections. He further added that the opposition parties in the country will be joining forces to bring down the saffron party in 2019 general elections.
Interestingly, Rahul said that BJP’s time is up and Narendra Modi will not be the prime minister of the country anymore. He added that Modi will not even be able to win from Varanasi constituency.
The main question here is whether Congress party has earned the public’s trust to get back to power? Are the people of the country seeing Rahul as a worthy leader? If yes, Can Rahul face the challenge of administrating the largest democratic nation in the world? Well, we have to wait for one more year to know the answers.
