Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandra Babu Naidu, left to Delhi yesterday. The TDP supremo said that he will be meeting various national-level leaders and discuss the current happenings in AP.
However, Babu said that he is not interested in national-level politics. He added that he rejected the chance to become the prime minister of the country in the past. He said that he is visiting Delhi to gain support for Andhra Pradesh.
It is already known that KCR has bought up the proposal of the third front in the following elections. This idea is slowly gaining support as various political parties have already pledged their support. This has led to a tensed situation in the capital of the country. CBN visiting Delhi in this tensed situation is raising doubts, opine political experts.
All in all, special category status for AP is the need of the hour. It would be better if the political leaders in AP concentrated on the welfare of the state rather than their personal gains.
