Who will face Hyderabad now?

The Indian Premier League has reached the penultimate stage as CSK have booked their flight to the finals. The eliminator is set to be played between Kolkata and Rajasthan at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The winner will be taking on the wounded Sunrisers Hyderabad who are fresh from the defeat against CSK.

Kolkata will have the home advantage and genuinely possess a much stronger squad than that of Rajasthan. They will be looking for solid performances from Chris Lynn, Narine, and Andre Russel to register a victory in front of their home fans. On the other hand, Rajasthan has made it to the playoffs against all odds as both RCB and Mumbai failed to win in their last matches.

If the predictions are anything to go by, Kolkata may emerge victorious in this crunch clash. The match will be starting 1 hour early than normal league matches. All in all, Kolkata vs Rajasthan will be another cracking contest between two consistent sides in the tournament.

Another shocking update is that South African star player, AB de Villiers has announced his retirement from international cricket on an immediate notice. Considered to be one of the best players of this generation, ABd had a remarkable career but failed to win any major ICC trophy during his time as the captain of the proteas. It is really saddening to hear that the cricketing legend will not be entertaining his fans with his scintillating strokeplay anymore.
