Prime minister of India, Narendra Modi has a massive following on social media platforms. He has over 42 million followers on microblogging site, Twitter alone. With such huge follower base, Modi needs to be on point every time he tweets about an issue. The same goes for the official Twitter handle of Prime Minister Office as well.

Interestingly, the Twitter handle of Prime Minister Office came up with a blunder mistake. They recently tweeted a titbit from Modi’s speech and it read ” The 125 crore people of India are my family: PM @narendramodi”. Well, the exact population of India is 132.4 crores and the prime minister got it completely wrong.

The netizens have taken things into their own hands and are irking the Twitter handle with sarcastic comments and replies. A majority of the replies are regarding the negligance of BJP towards South Indian states, especially Tamil Nadu. Here is a glimpse at the tweet from Prime Minister’s office. The comments and replies can be seen in the next thread.
