The chief minister of Karnataka, HD Kumaraswamy is facing hurdle after hurdle ever since he took charge as the chief minister of the state. Keeping hold of his party MLAs and making sure that Congress leaders don’t slip away was one of the first and foremost problems he had to overcome. Then came the floor test where BJP tried to create a high drama by walking out of the house just before the trust motion was passed.

The latest developments in Karnataka suggest that the JDS-Congress government is facing heat from the senior leaders. Apparently, many JDS and Congress leaders are feeling that they are being undervalued in the Kumaraswamy cabinet. Speaking about the situation, Kumaraswamy admitted that the political atmosphere is tensed, but he expressed confidence that the Congress high command will be laying out new strategies to calm down the leaders.

With 104 MLA seats, BJP is lurking around the corner to pounce on any opportunity that comes their way. This is one of the many reasons why the JDS-Congress government has decided to extend the cabinet in 2 phases. This way they can keep the negativity factor in check by estimating the backlash from the party leaders. Well, winning the floor test has solved just 50% of the troubles for JDS and Congress, they will be hit by many more problems in the coming days, said a political follower.
