TDP’s decision to quit NDA surprised me : Amit Shah

Bharatiya Janata Party president, Amit Shah expressed his opinion on TDP’s departure from the NDA alliance. The senior leader wrote a 9-page letter to the TDP chief, N Chandra Babu.

“I was surprised with your decision to quit our alliance”, said Amit Shah. We offered enough financial support to the state and lived up to the promises we made during the 2014 elections.

Amit said that TDP left the alliance for political gain rather than benefits for the state. He added that BJP stood by TDP during parliament sessions when TDP had no real prominence. He insisted that BJP is a friend of TDP and the general public.

Speaking about the developments in AP, Amit Shah pointed out the progress achieved during TDP-BJP alliance. We upgraded 3 domestic airports into international airports. We allotted funds for a 180 km ring road in the capital, Amaravati. we approved the initial plans for metro rail system as well, concluded the saffron party leader.
