TDP MLA to resign and join YSRCP

It came as a great shock to the Telugu Desam Party when its former MLA Yalamanchali Ravi announced his resignation and plans to join the primary Opposition Party YSRCP.

Reports say that YSRCP Chief YS Jagan held a meeting with the former MLA of TDP and this meeting lasted for six hours. After speaking about the current issues in the state with Jagan, he came to decision to change his loyalty form TDP to YSRCP.

It is said that the official enrolment in the party is to happen as soon as Jagan completes his ongoing ‘Padayathra’. This has come as a severe blow to the TDP to lose a senior party member to its opposition especially at a critical period like this.
