The political parties in Andhra Pradesh have started finalizing the candidates for the 2019 general elections. Both YSRCP and TDP are preparing their racehorses to face stern competition from Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena. With Pawan declaring that the party will be contesting in all 175 constituencies, the political equilibrium may see some major changes in the following elections.
The buzz is that YCP and TDP are looking to play the safe game by allotting the MLA tickets to experienced campaigners. A few reports are indicating that internet sensation, Jaleel Khan will not be contesting in this elections and his daughter will be making her political debut.
As expected by many, YCP Gudivada ticket may go to Kodali Nani, who stood as a firebrand leader for the party and has been an ardent supporter of Jagan all through. However, there is no news update about TDP’s candidate to contest against Kodali Nani. On the other hand, TDP Gannavaram ticket will land in the hands of Vallabhaneni Vamsi.
The news is that Kakaluru constituency will see some stiff competition for MLA tickets as 2-3 leaders are fighting for their spots. Former education minister, Parthasaradhi may contest from Penamaluru constituency on YCP’s ticket. Further details about the contestants from Krishna district are yet to be revealed.
