Rangasthalam is shattering every possible record in its sight. The movie has already grossed over 100 crores(Worldwide). Interestingly, the movie is showing no signs of slowing down even on weekdays.
The movie is receiving a great response for its technical brilliance, thanks to some stunning work from the art director, Rama Krishna. One may find it tough to believe that the entire movie was actually shot in a specially erected set in Hyderabad.
As per reports, the set was erected in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The village set up was laid in an extension of close to 30 acres. Here comes the interesting part, the village set can be clearly seen on the Google maps. Even the houses of the lead characters can be easily identified on the map. Eagle-eyed viewers have taken it upon themselves to mark the houses of Chitti Babu, Rama Lakshmi, and Phanindra Bhoopathi.
The makers have spent more than 5 crores to build an authentic village setup. Here is a sneak peek at the Rangasthalam Grama Panchayath( As referred in the movie).
