It is already known that Gali Somasekhar Reddy will be contesting from Bellary constituency on BJP’s ticket. This decision from the BJP high command shocked many people as the Gali brothers are involved in illegal mining cases. However, the saffron party took this daring decision and allotted the Bellary ticket for Somasekhar.
The latest news is that Gali Janardhan Reddy applied for special permission from the supreme court in order to campaign for his brother Somasekhar in Bellary area. However, the supreme court rejected the petition as Janardhan Reddy is currently on a restricted bail and should not enter the Bellary constituency. The court stood by its decision and made it clear that he should not enter Bellary city.
This indicates that Gali Janardhan Reddy cannot campaign for his brother, Gali Somasekhar Reddy this time around. With not much time left for the Karnataka general elections, Gali brothers have to figure out new ways to attract the voters.
The Karnataka general elections are set to be held on May 12th and the results will be declared on May 15th. A few trustable surveys claimed that Congress party will emerge victorious in these elections.
