Rigging at Karnataka polls?

The Assembly elections of Karnataka have begun amidst great political drama when the Congress party made severe allegations of rigging at the polling booths in several places.

The congress officials complained that the ‘Electronic Voting Machines’ had technical problems and due to this the polling was delayed by two hours. Congress Leader Brijesh Kalappa took this issue to twitter.

He alleged that in some of the machines whichever symbol the voters clicked on the vote was automatically transferred to the BJP’s symbol and some of the frustrated voters left without voting. He also requested the Election Comission to look into the case.

5 lakh voters of Karnataka are set to caste their vote today and the EC reported that the elections were happening at a good pace.
