Revanth Reddy, well renowned for his daring and dashing speeches waved goodbye to Telugu Desam party, claiming that the party was not going hard enough against TRS. Revanth said that he got a perfect platform in the Congress party to speak out against Telangana chief minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao.
However, Revanth’s latest comments suggest that the young leader is regretting his decision to join the Congress party. Revanth stated that Rahul Gandhi made many promises to attract him towards the national party. Sadly, I am not getting the same level of prominence that I was promised before joining the party, said Revanth.
The young leader made an interesting revelation that BJP president, Amit Shah personally invited him to join the party, but he rejected the proposal. All these claims are indicating that Revanth’s dream of becoming the chief minister of Telangana cannot turn reality as long he is with Congress party. The 48-year-old leader further said that Uttam Kumar Reddy is not having the best advisers by his side and that is affecting the party as a whole.
It would be interesting to watch if Revanth will switch his loyalties again and join BJP. With only 1 year left for the general elections, we cannot predict the next move from Revanth.
