Ramana Deekshithulu aims ‘Diamond’ against TTD

The ongoing internal rifts in the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam board is bringing many unknown incidents to light. The latest addition to the list is Ramana Deekshithulu’s claims that a valuable diamond has gone missing since 2001 from the TTD’s vault.

Recently, the priest was stripped of his role by the TDP government, saying that hereditary is not an acceptable procedure in any institution. However, Ramana Deekshithulu is claiming that TDP is taking revenge on him for providing special treatment to Amit Shah during his recent visit to Tirumala. This cat and mouse drama escalated quickly and TDP bigwigs felt that this is the right time to strip Ramana Deekshithulu off his post.

On a contemporary note, Ramana Deekshuthulu is claiming that a diamond that is worth Rs 500 crores has gone missing from the TTD vault. He added that the TTD board is cooking up stories that the diamond was shattered to pieces, following a few incidents where devotees threw coins towards Balaji’s idol during Garuda Seva. Diamonds are one of the hardest stones on the planet. How can a diamond be shattered to pieces after being hit by coins threw by the devotees? questioned Ramana Deekshithulu.

The Es-priest is demanding CBI inquiry on the issue and said that he will not be revealing any names till legal action is taken. Reacting to this, the executive officer of TTD, Anil Kumar Singhal said that the diamond is safe with TTD and there is no need to worry.
