This summer season is packed with many big name movies. The race will be kickstarted by Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam, followed by Mahesh’s Bharath Ane Nenu.
Rangasthalam is in a safe spot as the movie will be releasing on March 30. The movie will have a good 20 days gap to recover the money raked on it. However, that is not the case with Mahesh, Bunny, and Rajinikanth. Mahesh’s Bharath Ane Nenu, Rajini’s Kaala, and Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya will be releasing with a gap of 1 week.
Reportedly, Kaala’s release will be postponed to May. The ongoing strike in Kollywood is said to be the prime reason behind the decision. The Tamil film Producers Council has announced that movies will not be released until further notice. This pulls Kaala out of the equation and offers a free run for Mahesh and Bunny.
This news comes as a blessing to the makers of BAN and NPS. If Kaala is out of the race, these movies will have a comfortable 2-week gap to rake in the moolah. BAN will be releasing on April 20th and NPS will hit the screens on May 4th.
