Pawan stands by his word

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan recently stated that he will be holding a protest event if the TDP government does not look into the Uddanam issue. He stated that many innocent people are losing their lives to chronic kidney disease but the government is not ready to take proper action on the issue. Pawan issued a warning to the ruling party, saying that he will be holding a 24-hour Deeksha if the government does not respond on the issue within 48 hours.

Interestingly, the government did not even speak about the issue, but Lokesh tweeted that the government is doing all it can to rectify the issue. However, this reply did not satisfy Pawan Kalyan. The latest update from Janasena is that Pawan will be starting a protest event today at 5 PM and it will last for 24 hours(until Sat 5 PM).

It is a known thing that the TDP government has not even appointed a health and welfare minister to date. Expecting great results by holding a 24-hour deeksha on a complex issue can yield disappointing results for Pawan Kalyan. However, standing by the public when they need him the most is a great move from Pawan Kalyan. He looks like the right person to bring this issue to light as the opposition party YCP has failed to do so.
