The Congress party is currently gaining strength in Telangana. The arrival of firebrand leader, Revanth Reddy has come as a blessing for the age-old party. With not much time left for the general elections, Congress leaders are busy planning tactics to take on TRS.
Just when everything seemed right, Congress leaders came up with exaggerating statement. Going into the story, TPCC chief, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the party will win 80 MLA seats in the following elections. Not stopping here, he said that the police department is doing a lot of overaction.
Well, these comments may not go well with the public. Exhibiting overconfidence just before the 2019 elections can have some serious effects on the party. Interestingly, TRS could manage just 62 MLA seats (2014 elections) even after tremendous hype during the formation of Telangana. A resurgent Congress may find it tough to actually touch the 80 MLA mark, opine experts.
