Modi lays ’15 minutes’ challenge for Rahul Gandhi

The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) have come out all guns blazing in Karnataka elections campaign. The saffron party leaders are really confident that the party will come to power in the following elections. Interestingly, the party’s chief ministerial candidate, Yeddyurappa has stated that he will be swearing in as the chief minister of Karnataka either on May 17 or May 18th.

Recently, speaking at a public event, Narendra Modi made an interesting challenge to the Congress party president, Rahul Gandhi. Modi urged Rahul to speak about Congress’s achievements in Karnataka for 15 minutes without looking at a written piece of paper. Modi further added that Rahul can pick English, Hindi, or even his mother tongue to speak about the same.

These are some strong comments from the prime minister of India. On the other hand, Congress chief ministerial candidate, Siddaramiah is doing all he can to retain the power in this elections. The senior leader is staying very active on the social media platforms and coming up with witty replies for opposition party leaders.

This election campaign in Karnataka is very heated up and that is for sure. The elections are set to be held on May 12th and the results will be declared on May 15th.
