The shooting works of Maharshi are currently going on at a brisk pace in New York City, USA.
Initially, the movie unit planned to shoot 3 fight sequences in the USA but Mahesh has asked the makers to remove an action block.
The handsome hero enjoys a stellar following in the USA and this market has stood as his stronghold for quite some time now.
Generally, the overseas audience does not prefer action flicks and bluntly reject them. This was very much evident in the case of Aravinda Sametha. The first 20-minutes of the movie featured high-octane fight sequences and that troubled the family audience, directly affecting the run of the movie.
Apparently, Mahesh is feeling that even his film may face a similar fate if the overseas audience does not connect with it. With an intention to save his ‘family-hero’ image in the USA, Mahesh has decided to reduce the amount of violence in his films.
Maharshi is slated for release on April 5th. The movie stars Pooja Hegde in the lead role and Vamsi Paidipally is at the helm.
