Andhra Pradesh opposition leader, YS Jagan is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that YCP makes it to power in 2019 general elections. He is currently busy with the 6-month-long Pada Yatra, touring all the districts in Andhra Pradesh. He is looking to lead the party from the front and trying to irk TDP on various occasions.
With the party supremo spending all his time on Pada Yatra, senior leaders had to take it upon themselves to direct the party in rightful direction. While leaders like Mekapati Chandra Sekhar Reddy and Siva Kumar looking after the internal issues and party management, Vijay Sai Reddy has opted for the aggressor’s role. Vijay has been a very active participant in political campaigns arranged by the party, taking on the TDP.
However, he is lacking the maturity and conviction while making allegations against Telugu Desam Party. His wayward comments and tough-to-crack acts are receiving a mixed response from the general public. Also, the ruling party is making full use of the fact that Vijay has various financial fraud cases against him.
Interestingly, the party has more than capable aggressor in the form of Ambati Rambabu. He has proved himself many a time in the past and possesses strong vocal skills that are very much essential for any political leader.
It is high time that Jagan reassesses his options and look for other alternatives before any further damage is done.
