YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken a massive make it or break it decision regarding the latest additions to his party. Reportedly, Jagan has rejected Anam brothers proposal of joining forces with the party. It needs to be said that both Anam Vivekananda Reddy and Ramnarayan Reddy are big shots from the Nellore constituency and can bring a lot of charisma and follower base to the party.
Anam Ramnarayan Reddy and Vivekananda Reddy had a disappointing spell at TDP and are looking for alternatives. Incidentally, they contacted Jagan and enquired about the chances of them getting MLA tickets from Nellore and Atmakuru constituencies respectively.
Jagan felt that the inclusion of these leaders can affect the party big time and can yield adverse results. The other thing is that the party’s leaders have been working day in day out for the strengthening of the cadre, inviting Anam brothers into the party may not go well with many. With all this in mind, Jagan bluntly rejected the Anam brothers proposal.
It would be interesting to watch if Jagan has taken a bad decision that may cost the party in the 2019 elections.
