Andhra Pradesh opposition leader, YS Jagan made some interesting comments on the context of 2019 elections. The YSRCP leader said that the TDP government has failed miserably in fulfilling the promises it made during the 2014 elections when in alliance with the BJP.
Jagan urged the people of Andhra Pradesh to give him the power to irk the central government. He stated that he can singlehandedly bring special category status to Andhra Pradesh if the YSRCP has 25 MPs from the state. Well, that is like a complete sweep out in all the parliamentary constituencies in the state. Practically speaking, this is a next to impossible task for any political party in the state.
Jagan further added that Chandra Babu put his personal greeds over the welfare of the state and that is the reason behind the troubles AP is facing today.
It needs to be seen if Jagan’s unreal request(25 MPs) turns reality and whether he can bring SCS as promised.
