Game, set, match – Congress-JDS

An interesting episode in Karnataka politics has come to an eventful end with the resignation of Yeddyurappa. The BJP leader swore in as the chief minister of Karnataka on May 19th but failed to gather the number required to form the government in Karnataka. Things are clear now for Congress and JDS to come to power in the Kannada state.

Congress and JDS had to work their hearts out to keep hold of their party MLAs as BJP fought until the very last moment to attract 8 MLAs towards their side. With that being said, it is only fair that Congress and JDS are forming the government as they have already made it clear that they have enough numbers to win the floor test.

Yeddyurappa will be submitting his resignation to the governor soon and step down as the CM, 2 days after taking charge. The senior leader said that he will be fighting against Kumaraswamy until his last breath.
