First Revanth Reddy, now Motkupalli

Telugu Desam Party is struggling to stay afloat in Telangana and the situation is about to worsen. At first, Revanth Reddy, who stood as a firebrand leader for the party switched loyalties, saying that the party was not standing by him while fighting against TRS. This move proved to be disastrous for the party as the cadre was severely disappointed with the departure of a leader, who was touted to be the future of the yellow brigade.

The latest news is that TDP senior leader, Motkupalli Narasimhulu is all set to quit the yellow party. He has been maintaining some distance with the party high command ever since they failed to keep up the promise of making him an MLC. There were rumors that Motkupalli shared a good relationship with BJP and would be joining the saffron party. However, there was no news about Motkupalli’s political future for a long time.

The buzz is that Motkupalli received a warm invitation from TRS leaders and they have promised him a key position in the party. These rumors gained even more heat after Motkupalli decided to skip the mini Mahanadu event that was held recently. Even after coming to know about all this, CBN did not speak to Motkupalli and that has angered the senior leader, who has decided to join TRS and an official announcement is expected soon.
