Bringing in heroines from other industries is nothing new to the Telugu film industry. Our producers show great interest in scouting for young heroines and models from various other languages and Bollywood is one of the key go-to options. A similar thing is happening with Ravi Teja’s latest movie, Nela Ticket.
The movie is slated for release on 25th and the makers have recently released the first trailer of the movie. Well, it clearly looks like a typical commercial entertainer with doses of comedy, emotions, and drama. The director, Kalyan Krishna achieved success with Rarandoi Veduka Chooddam and Soggade Chinni Nayana with a similar formula and is no mood to come out of the age-old making style.
The interesting point is that the female lead in the movie, Malavika Sharma looks like a child artist beside Ravi Teja. The young actress is just 23 years old and looks odd when she shares the screen with 50-year-old Ravi Teja. Well, there is nothing against the senior hero, but the casting department should have been a bit cautious because Malavika and Ravi Teja combination looks like a drastic mismatch.
With that being said, we have to wait till the movie releases to see if the script demanded the heroine to look much younger than the hero. If that is not the case, this lead pair combination will go down as one of the biggest duds in recent times.
