The chief minister of Goa, Manohar Parrikar has taken a strange decision of sorts. The BJP think tank will be running the state government from the USA. Wonder why he has taken this decision? here is the full story.

Manohar Parrikar has been diagnosed with an undisclosed health problem. The 62-year-old leader has been adviced to take proper care about his health condition by his close aides. Considering all this, Parrikar has opted to shift to a prominent hospital in the US and carry the administrative duties from there.

Surprisingly, he withheld 20 portfolios including Home, Finance, and mining. There are reports that Parrikar will be taking care of all these departments all by himself.

Another interesting news is that Parrikar has formed a core committee with 3 bureaucrats. These senior officers will be directly reporting to the chief minister. However, Parrikar will be coordinating with these officers and will be taking the final decisions.

The chief minister was taking medical treatment in Mumbai and has recently moved to the US.
