Andhra Pradesh former chief minister, Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy is getting more and more active in the Congress party. It is being heard that the party president, Rahul Gandhi himself met with Kiran and spoke about the party’s strategy for the following elections. Also, the senior leader will be a key member in the planning committee after impressing the party during his time as the chief minister of the united Andhra Pradesh.
The interesting part is that Kiran Kumar Reddy scored utterly poor marks from the public during his reign. This was pretty much evident after he came out of Congress party and established his own party, Jai Samaikyandhra. He had to face a humiliating defeat as the party was swept out in its first term itself. Interestingly, that is not stopping Congress from placing all their stakes on him.
A few reports are claiming that Kiran will not be promoted as a national level leader and will be given higher responsibilities after the completion of elections in AP and Telangana. Further details about these developments can be expected in the following days.
