Andhra Pradesh BJP president, Kambhampati Hari Babu has resigned to as the president of the party. He submitted his resignation letter to the party’s national president Amit Shah yesterday. He stated that he intends to promote youth leaders in the party and that is the reason behind his sudden decision.
A few political experts claimed that Hari Babu is close friends with AP chief minister, Chandra Babu and that is the reason behind his resignation. Hari Babu is finding it tough to make harsh and hard ditting comments against Chandra Babu after the latter quit the NDA alliance, said a few sources.
The buzz is that Paidikondala Manikyala Rao is being considered as the new president of the party. An official confirmation will be coming in a week from the BJP high command. Even Somu Veerraju is looking like a good contender for the post, but the senior leaders are trusting in Manikyala Rao’s tactical brilliance, said a few sources from BJP.
