Ahead of the Karnataka State elections, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddharamayya wrote an open letter to the telugu speaking population of Karnataka requesting their support in the upcoming elections.
He stated that Telugu speakers have made Karnataka home from many decades and the Telugus and Kannadigas have always had a strong bond between each other. He called out to the Telugu people to vote for the Congress.
‘We have fulfilled 95% of what we have promised’ he declared. He also raised the issue of SCS and reminded them of how the BJP has betrayed them and they should teach them a lesson by voting Congress to power.
Many politicians have different takes on this topic. While some say that there has been no development in Karnataka during Siddhramiah’s rule some say that the BJP will obstruct future development. For now, it looks like a neck-to-neck tie between both the parties.
