The political scenario in Andhra Pradesh is taking weird twists and turns with every passing day. The political parties are prepping up their cadres to face the 2019 general elections. While Jagan is doing all he can to come to power, Chandra Babu has summoned his thinktanks to draw strategies on how to retain power in the following elections.
It needs to be said that Jagan has a slight upper hand over CBN as his Pada Yatra is receiving a great response from the public. Interestingly, a few key leaders from TDP have openly stated that they will be moving to YSRCP in the near future.
With that being said, Jagan enjoyed a similar following even during the 2014 elections but failed to convert the craze into votes. For this reason, Jagan has recruited Prashanth Kishore as the key tactician for the party. Prashanth has previously worked with Narendra Modi and played a key role during the 2014 elections.
On the other hand, CBN himself is a political genius and has great knowledge of the political equilibrium in the Telugu states. Also, he has very much aware of the threat posed by Jagan’s party and would have come up with strategies to counter the young leader.
Speaking about Janasena would be a bit too early as estimating the prowess of the party would be like shooting bullets in the dark. Political experts are claiming that Janasena may have a minimal effect during the 2019 elections.
It needs to be seen who will emerge victorious and swear in as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2019. Will it be YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ane nenu or Nara Chandra Babu Naidu ane nenu. Only time will tell.
