Disqualify defected MLAs, prove sincerity: YSRCP to TDP
The YSR Congress Party on Tuesday said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu speaking about electoral reforms was laughable and dared the TDP chief to go for by-polls by disqualifying all those who defected to the ruling party. If Naidu is sincere about poll reforms then he should ask defectors to face elections afresh and prove his sincerity, the YSRCP said.
YSRCP spokesperson Vasi Reddy Padma told media persons that the TDP chief was resorting to political corruption by luring 21 MLAs of YSRCP. If Chandrababu Naidu is really serious about bringing in poll reforms then he should disqualify all those MLAs who cross the Assembly floor and ask them to get elected afresh, she said.
The YSRCP leader alleged that the TDP government was indulging in corrupt practices even as the TD chief was talking about curbing corruption which is ironical.
